Vintage Pimpernel Placemats (9) and Coasters (14) in "Copper Rose" Pattern

The Pimpernel "Copper Rose" placemats designed by Debbie Halliday were likely produced 1980s. They are often described as having an Art Deco or Charles Rennie Mackintosh style, but I find that Halliday's style is distinctive enough to put her in her own category of Art Deco inspired design.

There are 9 placemats and 14 coasters in this set. Each has a glossy coating protecting the front art on these mats, and features a robust cork backing for stability during use.

These placemats are in excellent condition. They have some almost imperceptible wear marks in the top surfaces. The backing cork on each piece is in great shape, no cracks or chunks missing.
