Vintage Controlled Bubble Art Glass Elephant Paperweight Figurine Hand Blown

This is an absolutely adorable, stunning, hand-blown clear art glass elephant figurine. I would give it a name but if I did, I would never let her go! So, this amazing, unnamed art glass elephant can receive her name once she gets to you.

This piece showcases exquisite, intentional controlled bubble detailing (bullicante style) suspended within heavy, brilliant clear glass. A true testament to handcrafted glass artistry, you can visually trace how the piece was expertly fashioned out of molten glass—from the gracefully pulled trunk and tail to the two separately applied ears featuring hand-pressed indentations for life-like dimension and texture. (The eyes are also artfully applied indentations!)

There is no backstamp (it likely originally bore a paper or foil maker's sticker that has since worn off) so a specific maker can't be pinpointed. That surely takes nothing away from the charm and beauty of a piece this whimsical and yet skillfully made.
