This pattern from 1984 features two variants of this dramatic wrap/cloak - 3/4 length and floor length. This design is classic mid-1980s dramatic outerwear in a pattern designed to be easier to sew than it may appear at first glance. The oversized, loose-fitting wrap/cloak with an asymmetric front closure is a quintessential 80s silhouette with its deep turn-back cuffs, integrated shawl/hood collar, and swingy hem.
