Pendant - Zebra Jasper - Gold Plate finding

This variegated zebra jasper specimen has been tumbled to a bright shine, but has been allowed to keep the shape it naturally formed during the tumbling process rather than post-processing it into a cabochon shape. I find that some stones show their natural beauty more when kept in the form they gravitated to while being tumbled. This stone is a great example of this, with the color variations being shown to their best advantage along the curves of this piece.

The stone has been securely attached to a gold plated pendant finding and can be worn for many years to come.
