Chamomile Lonely Cup Candle: Vintage 1970s Lefton Vanity Cup with Handpoured Candle
Chamomile Lonely Cup Candle: Vintage 1970s Lefton Vanity Cup with Handpoured Candle
The cup is a single cup from a "Vanity Set", produced by the Geo. Z. Lefton Company, which worked with artisans in Japan beginning after the end of WWII to import fine, hand-painted porcelain. Around the 1970s, when this piece was produced, they imported many "Vanity Sets", multi-piece sets intended for use on a vanity or in the restroom. This cup also features a maker's mark on the bottom, the style of which dates this piece to the 1970s, and also features a pattern number, #7685.
The candle itself is handcrafted with a 60% palm wax and 40% fully-refined paraffin wax blend. The chamomile scent comes from the company Lagunamoon, and it is undiluted, solvent-free, and has been rigorously safety tested specifically for use in candles and scent warmers.
