Vintage Cristal d'Arques Lead Crystal Humpback Whale & Calf – Made in France

This exquisite lead crystal figurine captures a tender moment between a humpback whale and its calf. Some Cristal d'Arques pieces that were made in France during the timeframe that they were making their "Animal Boutique" collection (the 1990s) featured a "VI" etched somewhere on the base. You can see the VI on this piece in photos 3 and 7. It is not present on all of their pieces made in France, but if the mark is there, the piece was definitely made in France.
